Situated on the waterfront in the quiet costal village of Gairloch, Myrtle Bank is a perfect base from which to explore the outstanding natural beauty of Wester Ross.  This is a Highland wilderness punctuated by dramatic mountains, sea lochs and long clean sandy beaches.  For hillwalkers, Slioch and the Torridon mountains and An Teallach are all within easy reach.  There are forest walks around beautiful Loch Maree and through the Beinn Eighe nature reserve.  A haven for wildlife, whales porpoises and seals can all be seen on the loch, as well as many seabirds.
