Puebla de San Miguel is a small town in the Rincón de Ademuz. Located at 1,103 meters above sea level, it is the highest municipality in the province of Valencia.
About its origin, we can assure that there are tithes (payments) to the Archbishopric of Segorbe dating from the year 1300. However, it was in 1767 when it was segregated from Ademuz and was granted by order of Carlos III the title of Villa Real de la Puebla of San Miguel.
