Villanueva del Campillo is located in the Sierra de Ávila, northwest of the Central System. It mainly occupies the upper basin of the Gamo River, a river that flows into the Adaja with its various streams, and this in turn discharges its waters into the Duero.

Our villa has an area of 46 km² and is located at an altitude of 1,454 m above sea level. The distance from the town to the port of Villatoro is 7 km, by local road, and from there it is 43 kilometers that separate us from the city of Avila circulating along the national road N-110.
