Welcome to Norlands, home to Penny & Niall Nordell, your hosts for a wonderful holiday in the Sunny South East of Ireland. Only recently constructed, Norlands is a purpose built Bed & Breakfast approved and inspected by Bord Failte the Irish Tourism Authority. All of our rooms are en-suite, with TV, and there is plenty of secure parking.
We are located convenient to Tramore town centre, sufficiently removed from the hussle and bustle to offer a peaceful and tranquil holiday in a relaxed setting. We are only 10 minutes walk (3 minutes drive) from the beach, shops and restaurants.
The Sunny South East of Ireland We are in the heart of the South East of Ireland, commonly referred to as the Sunny South East. More recently it has been called the Crystal County because of it's long association with Waterford Crystal, the world's premier brand of hand cut crystal. 300,000 people visit Waterford Crystals show rooms each year, which are only 8 minutes drive from Norlands.
Factual & Cultural Note: We are located in Tramore, Co. Waterford, Ireland. Waterford City is approximately 127 km (100 miles) from our national capital DUBLIN. Tramore is 10km. (7 miles) from Waterford City on the coast, and is Ireland's premier seaside resort town.
The house is a bungalow consisting of 4 en-suite rooms, one twin (Clane) two doubles (Lakelands & Firhouse) and a family room (Greystones). The names of the rooms are the places we have lived in over the years in Ireland.
