The Antintupa cottages are located by the shores of lake Palojärvi in Kortesjärvi, which is in the county of Pohjanmaa. In 2009 Kortesjärvi was made part of the city of Kauhava. The main sources of income in the area are provided by the blue lakes, rolling hills and dense forests. There are over 200 farms in the Kortesjärvi area along various other industries providing employment for the 2300 inhabitants living there.

We started our cabin rental business in the summer of 2002. Niemenmökki is a traditional log cabin, which was constructed in 1994 while Saarenmaa, a rounded log cabin was constructed in 2003. The cabins are an extension to the ongoing farming operation the core of which is livestock and dairy farming. The farm is run by Markku Palojärvi, who is the sixth “Lord of the manor” in a span of eight generations.

For those seeking the peace and quiet of nature. The cabin is located on a peninsula by the shore of lake Palojärvi. There is a fantastic view on to the lake, a large lawn and grill shelter. The cabin is surrounded by trees, bushes and flowerbeds.

There is boat and pier by the shore. The cabin has been fully renovated in 2004 and boasts a sauna, dressing room hall and terrace.

There is a double bed in the bedroom and a  double bed settee in the kitchenette.
