In an old farm house from the end of the eighteenth century, whose support buildings were also converted, born the Hotel Rural Quinta de Novais, in the parish of Santa Eulalia, the municipality of Arouca.

The recovery and restoration of all to respect the characteristics of pre-existing buildings, and there was, however, the concern to introduce a touch of modernity and all the comfort essential to today. The use of materials such as iron and glass, as well as the choice of some colors bolder, enabled the creation of spaces and environments striking contrast.

The surrounding area, with about 25000m ², has a large area of chestnut, oak and cork trees, which together with the green space and flowers of the garden, and having the mountains on the horizon Freita, form a single whole.
