Cornerstones Guest House was established in 1986. It took a week to get the pigeons out of this large Victorian mansion and three years to renovate the building; doing most of the work ourselves 2 or 3 hours after work during the week and every weekend and running out of money once or twice along the way.
Internally is a mix of Victorian and contemporary design furniture and fabrics. The structure has not been altered in any way, so today it is the same as when it was built in 1871, with large, light and airy rooms and high ceilings.
