The Garret is nestled on the top floor of The Troubadour. It gives you the freedom of your own space together with the service and facilities of The Troubadour.

The Garret is an authentic Chelsea Arts & Crafts luxury hideaway. It is a private and discreet space in a unique environment. Recommended by Alastair Sawday’s in his guide “Special Places to Stay” “I love it! The flat is easy-going attractive and unpretentious, a delightful home-from-home.” The Eleanor is a discreet space in a unique environment. Romantic couples, business people, artists and writers, bored with mainstream hotels, but who demand a high standard of comfort and friendly service, see The Eleanor as a perfect place to unwind.

There is an enormous King size bed with a specially made to measure mattress in the bed-room and if required for other members of your family a small double sofa bed and a small double blow up bed, both in the sitting room. The shower room is en suite but the loo has its own separate room! The Garret & Eleanor can be fully-serviced - should you require it. You can order room service from the cafe downstairs & Garret guests are automatically given a preferential rate if you wish to entertain your guests with a drinks or dinner party in the Gallery below – please indicate this may be a requirement when you book The Garret or The Eleanor. Continental breakfast is included in the price you pay. We provide bread, butter and jams, plus teas and coffee so you can make your own breakfast in The Garret, where there is a toaster, a kettle and a combination microwave (but no cooker/hob).

The Troubadour was founded in 1954 as part of the second great London coffee revolution, and over the years has become a west London institution. Through the 1950s and 60s the Cafe became one of the centres of London intellectual and artistic life, and the Club downstairs was the first place where Bob Dylan performed in London, and Paul Simon, Charlie Watts and Jimi Hendrix have all played here. More recently the Club has hosted internationally acclaimed acts including Adele, Ed Sheeran and Paulo Nutini. Last autumn (October 2013) Ronnie Wood and Mick Taylor hosted a secret gig prior to their performance in The Royal Albert Hall. Downstairs the Cafe consistently impresses visitors with delicious, globally influenced cuisine and its warm, romantic atmosphere. It only takes a step inside the famous carved doorway to feel like you have stepped into a time warp.
