The riding stables are situated just 7 miles from Oswestry and Llangollen, on the Wales / England border, overlooking the Ceiriog Valley giving instant access to great off road riding on tracks, fields and bridleways, making this the perfect centre for your horse riding From an hours trek to enjoy the scenery, a fast hack to enjoy the lovely horses, a lesson in flat work or jumping with our qualifield BHSIT instructor, a day ride or trek for all levels of riders to a residential holiday or trailride in this lovely part of Wales. We have choices to suit you all.
Riding Lessons
Our main instructor , Kate is a BHSIT with many years experience of teaching horse riding to all age groups, from 5 years on lead reins through to adults.
From the complete beginner to the experienced rider.
Flat work, general lessons and jumping
Private, semi private and small groups of 4-6.

3 day Berwyn Mountain Trail Ride
"One of the best trail rides available anywhere in the world"
Next dates available are; arriving on the Friday P.M on the 3rd May and riding on the 4th to 6th May 2013 Bank Holiday weekend.
Designed for the Intermediate/ experienced rider.
Day 1 The big one! with up to 7 hours of riding plus 2 breaks, we set out around 9am from Springhill, we take the opportunity after warming up our horses to enjoy a few canters. After dropping off the Pen-Y-Gwelly plateau, we enjoy the fantastic ride up the Gyrn, using a track of a quality long lost from most area of the UK.
We then stop to enjoy our early picnic lunch before moving on, quickly enjoying more fantastic scenery and pretty villages along country lanes and farm tracks.
Over open mountain on to Tan y pistyll the site of the highest waterfall in England and Wales, where we enjoy afternoon tea,, and for those with some energy left, enjoy a walk to the top of the waterfall or even enjoy an invigorating shower at the base.
After our break,we set out on our most challenging climb, sometimes needing to dismount to lead the horses, before we end the first day in the pretty village of Llangynog.
