Local Activities

There are a number of activities in the area, with numerous walking or cycling routes, golf courses, fishing sites and provision for other outdoor activities such as pony trekking. More restful activities are catered for by a nearby cinema, and several picnic areas. For more details, click the link above.

Local Visitor Attractions

Dunoon is 6 miles away and provides shops, restaurants and many resort facilities including a variety of summer cruises. Loch, river and sea angling are all available nearby and, for keen walkers, there is direct access to forest walks at Pucks Glen and other walks and trails of great beauty. Wildlife is plentiful and the whole area is ideal for ornithologists.
