We are more than happy if you choose our city and hostel as the destination of your travel.
You won’t be disappointed: Budapest is a beautiful city full of sights, clubs, thermal springs and great atmosphere, but a guide book is a better information source.
We would rather tell you about our hostel:
We gave the name ‘FRIENDS’ to our hostel because we want to provide a very friendly atmosphere, where our guests became friends and explore the city and surroundings together... And the pure facts:

HOSTEL DESCRIPTION:
Our hostel can be found on the second floor of a typical Pest downtown building. It has total 5 rooms on 150 m² and can accommodate total 10-14 persons in 2-3 bedded private rooms and dormitories with 4-8 beds. Our hostel also has 2 bathrooms with toilet, well-equipped kitchen, living room, reception and storage room. With our partner hostel next to us we can accommodate even groups up to 50 persons.

LOCATION:
Friends can be found in the very downtown of Budapest, right at the corner of the famous pedestrian shopping street (Váci utca) and Haris köz with easy access from international train/bus stations and airport: 50 m from Ferenciek tere (square) metro stop; Next to clubs, discos (FAT MO’s, Living room, Desperados etc.); close to cultural sights (Basilica, Parliament, Old market hall etc.) The spectacular Danube Corso (Danube bank) is app. 100 m from us.
Friends is surrounded with plenty of restaurants, clubs, pubs, cafés, shops, but you can find internet café (50m), money exchange (30 m) and laundry within a short walk as well.

-No curfew (once you get the room and building key, you can come or leave whenever you want)

-City maps (we give city maps to you free on arrival)

-Breakfast (in case of groups; possible in the sandwich bar opposite to our hostel)

-Travel services (we can help you arranging excursions in or outside Budapest, walking tours, boat trips, activities like paintball, Gokart, folklore show, caving, wine tasting, pub crawl, walking and biking tours and much more (pls let us know your such request well in advance – if we know in time that more of our guests would do the same programme, the prices are much better – furthermore some programmes need a min. number of participants).

Information/good to know/Rules

Check in: from 08:00 till 22:00
(if you can not be at our hostel by the estimated arrival time you gave us on the booking enquiriy, call us 30 minutes before arrival /Mob: 00 36- 70 365 62 26/ - currently there is no nonstop reception and we may not be at the hostel then)

Check out: till 10:00 (you can leave your bags in our luggage store)

Please keep the noise level on minimum in the hostel and building; our hostel in not an independent building and we have to respect the house residents.

Payment is in cash upon arrival.

We request your credit card number and expiration date for the bookings: In case of cancellation within 24h or no show we have to charge 1 night stay.

We request 10 EUR deposit for one key; and if you don’t loose it, you will get the money back at departure.
