The holiday flat is in a newly renovated traditional stone-built tenement built in the 1850's. There is a magnificent view of Edinburgh Castle from the living room window. It's a great home base for independent travel on a Scottish vacation. The warm and comfortable interior has been completely modernised including full gas central heating and a fully-equipped kitchen. There is a wonderful selection of specialist shops, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep and it is only a three-minute walk to the Edinburgh Royal Mile. A peaceful extensive park, the Meadows, lies only a few minutes walk away from Castle Apartment. The Castle Apartment bedroom has a quiet, calm ambience and is situated at the back of the flat. The enormous double bed (American Emperor size) can be easily split into two full-width singles if required. Small children and babies are welcome with a crib available on request.
