Sant Pere del Bosc is an exceptional site of the tenth century located 6.5 miles from the center of Lloret de Mar (Costa Brava) and which once belonged to the Guild of Fishermen.

The original chapel was named Sant Pere Salou. History has it that the Benedictine monks inhabited the monastery until it was burned by the French invaders in 1694, from which time the community was incorporated in Sant Pere de Galligans and the monastery was closed.
