Alford itself is full of historic interest with a working 5 sailed windmill, 17th century manor house and a 14th century church. The town is also known for the Alford Craft Market, established in 1974, the Craft Market shop and the Craft centre.

Quiet and picturesque with good road links in all directions, Alford is a great base for exploring rural Lincolnshire, situated on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds and just 7 miles to the East Coast.
