Just outside Wismar, on the right from the direction of Schwerin, in the 1000-year-old village of Mecklenburg on the 43 m high Rugenberg is the Dutch windmill, built in 1849. From your room or apartment you can enjoy the wonderful view over the romantic hilly landscape to the Wismar harbor .

40 large rooms (some wheelchair accessible) are tastefully furnished and have a shower/WC, TV, telephone and fax connection. The sauna and whirlpool, the solarium and the fitness room offer pleasant relaxation.

In the Mühlen Restaurant, which is known beyond the country's borders and was redesigned in 1994, Mecklenburg specialties are served on three levels. Enjoy the picturesque view of the thatched mill ensemble while taking a relaxing break in the beer garden. The rustically furnished farmhouse room with around 80 seats and the new winter garden with around 40 seats offer the right setting for travel groups and celebrations of all kinds.
