The small picturesque health resort Malchow - the pearl of the lake district, is situated between the Fleesensee and Plau on the shores of Lake Malchow. On the outskirts in a quiet area (approx 10 min walk to the center) is the youth hostel. From there, easily accessible, there are many interesting places for hiking and biking.

Bathing facilities are available at various beaches and nature in the bathhouse. Malchow has many different leisure activities in summer, but also in autumn and winter. These include: various museums, ice and roller sports facilities, cinema, canoe tours, carriage rides, bowling and bowling alleys as well as sailing courses for beginners and advanced.
