The Domaine de Ceyrac (from the name of the Roman Serius, who settled in the region 2000 years ago) is an authentic Cevennes hamlet that in the 18th century had farm buildings, wine cellars, a forge and dwellings, as well as a priory and a chapel. About thirty people lived and worked here until the 19th century. As time passed, the inhabitants slowly left and the hamlet suffered the patina of time, the rain, the sun and the wind.
