This delightful Bed and Breakfast is situated in the heart of South Uist. It sits midway between Lochboisdale, which is the main ferry terminal for South Uist and Daliburgh which host all the traditional fixtures of a small community in the Outer Hebrides.

Lochside Cottage is modern and tremendously comfortable and has central heating through out. The bedrooms are bright, airy, spacious and have televisions and personal tea and coffee making facilities. All amenities are on the ground floor.

Lochside Cottage is a long standing family run business which host a well appointed Dining room with spectacular views of the local mountains as well as the loch that is at arms length.

We also invite Vegetarians to come to the table for a satisfying meal. For the avid fishermen there are drying and tackle rooms, freezing facilities and packed lunches by arrangement.

The location is ideal for anglers, birdwatchers, botanists and walkers and anybody that wants first class rest and relaxation as well as food that takes your taste buds to heaven.

The Twin Bedroom is extremely comfortable and has spectacular views to the east of the island where the local mountains stand in all their glory.

The Double room is also extremely comfortable and offers fine views to the west, where the rugged landscape is forever changing in color.

There is also a family room which consists of a double and single bed.
