Camping Torentjeshoek located in the countryside on the edge of the National Park Dwingelderveld. The rich forest and heath area offers plenty of opportunities for sporting challenges: walking, biking, horseback riding, wagon rides, mountain biking and Wampex. Dwingeloo, the most beautiful green village of Drenthe, located 1.5 km away.

Torentjeshoek has 260 spacious sites (from 100 to 170 m2) suitable for tents, caravans and wagons. In addition, rents cabins and tree houses Torentjeshoek different. All sites have water, electricity and waste water disposal. A TV or wireless internet connection is possible. Part of the site is free of cars. Pets are welcome.

The campsite has excellent facilities: four toilet blocks, baby laundry room, disabled toilet, shower and sink, laundry, canteen with bar, fireplace and terrace, clubhouse, small grocery shop and a bike and go-kart rental. For children Torentjeshoek include a goat pasture, games, volleyball and badminton fields. Guests have free use of the heated swimming pool, 300 meters from the campsite.

The school provides a professional team of daily recreation program for youth. Fixed components are knutseluur (morning) and toddler fifteen (evening). Furthermore, there is a continuous football and volleyball tournaments, mountain bike tours, treasure hunts and organized survivals. In collaboration with the association "Wampex Dwingeloo" there are summer Wampex various tours.
