HEM Hotel het Tolhuus lies in the small village of Warder. Along the 'IJsselmeer' guests can take a bike ride to towns such as Edam, Volendam, or Hoorn. The 'IJsselmeer' offers many possibilities for water sports enthusiasts. If you wish to leave the city behind for a while, Amsterdam can be reached in about 30 minutes by car.

Het Tolhuus is a 3-star hotel, located in the green reclaimed land area along the 'IJsselmeer' lake. The reception staff will gladly assist you to plan activities in the surroundings. At the reception one can also rent bicycles to take a bike ride along the lake or through the meadows and tulip fields.

The hotel has a garden with an outside terrace, where one can relax after an active day in the area. A children's playground can be found within walking distance. The hotel rooms have a bathroom with a shower and a toilet, a television, air conditioning and a radio.

Food and Drinks

The international breakfast buffet is served from 07:30 to 10:00 h. On request, guests can also have an earlier breakfast. A packed lunch can be arranged as well.
Between 12:00 and 15:00 h. guests can have lunch in the restaurant. Dinner service starts at 18:00 h. At the bar one can order a drink until midnight.

Internet

The hotel offers wireless Internet of Swisscom at an additional charge. Guests can use these facilities with their own laptop. The code which is needed to access the Internet is available at the reception.
