Our many traditional pubs offer fine food and drink, while in the town there are theatres, sports and leisure facilities and many other entertainments.

There is an oak wine rack and tray space and from the old beam hangs a variety of quality stainless steel pans. This kitchen is on the first floor, additionally there is a utility room with freezer, worktop and washing machine situated on the ground floor.
The living room and adjoining dining area is also on the first floor and has a vaulted ceiling complete with the original elm truss beams which are well over 1000 years old. In the corner is a television set with DVD player and a built-in stone book case. There is also a wealth of local information leaflets. Looking up from the sitting room there is a gallery from where there is a fine view of the weir stream and the log basket lifting gear installed in the roof space.
