..Glenbeigh is situated in the South West corner of Ireland, on the Ring of Kerry, and the Kerry Way walking route. It is washed by the Atlantic ocean and ridged by magnificent mountains. A long coast line of sandy beaches, it offers many places of quiet scenic beauty.

Where to Go?
Kells Bay � a picturesque little resort halfway between Glenbeigh and Cahirciveen on your travels you have a panoramic view of Dingle Bay, Blasket Islands and Kells Bay itself.

Cahirciveen � Nestling at the foot of the Beentie Mountains is �..the town that climbs the mountains and looks upon the sea�. Those lines composed by the famous Sigerson Clifford. The Daniel O�Connell Memorial Church is worth a visit, it is a massive granite building and is one of the few catholic churches in the world dedicated to a lay man. The church remains a lasting tribute to the liberator. As you approach the town you can see �Carham House� the actual birthplace of Daniel O�Connor.

Derrynane House � The home of the Daniel O�Connell who lived here during his political life. The house is open as a museum.

Caragh Lake � A paradise for fishermen and a lover of scenery. In 1925 the Caragh River was selected as the cleanest river in Europe. This confirms the first class quality of the environment in our Parish.
