Domaine de Vaugouard
Around 1789, Colonel de Salis Samade gave this property to his sister and then to his nephew, Baron Henri de Triqueti. First a pupil of Girodet, Triqueti was later named "the sculptor of the princes." He was entrusted with the realization of the bronze doors of the church of Madeleine in Paris.
Close to the King's family, Triqueti ceded Vaugouard's property to the Duke of Orléans, the eldest son of King Louis Philippe 1er, in 1838 to make it a famous hunting rendezvous.
