Cabañas de Tentudía The complex is inserted in a unique setting since it is located in the middle of the mountains surrounded by chestnut and pine trees. In autumn there are numerous species of mushrooms due to the humidity of the forests in the area. Due to its location, the heat is less stifling in summer and relatively warm in other seasons. It is located about 12 km from our Hostal Restaurante Cruz de Santiago in the cozy town of Calera de León and about 7 km from the Tentudía Monastery on the highest peak of this mountain range. They are accessed by road and their last stretch of about 6 km is a forest track accessible to tourism vehicles since the Tentudía Cabins are located in the bowels of the mountain.
Until reaching the cabins, the visitor will observe a magnificent landscape of small pastures with their typical images, Iberian pigs and finally mountains, they may also find a flock of sheep lining the road.
