 The Location

6 Portinode Cottages is situated in a quiet rural location on the northern shores of Lower Lough Erne, about 3 miles north-west of the attractive village of Kesh, near Boa Island. It forms part of a small, exclusive development of traditionally designed, detached bungalows. No. 6 is surrounded by its own open gardens and enjoys wonderful views of nearby Hare Island and beyond to the open lough. It has access to a berth in Portinode Cottages' private marina, located on the lakeshore in front of the properties.

Portinode is located in the beautiful Fermanagh lakeland. The region not only provides visitors with spectacular scenery, but is steeped in history and heritage, with its ancient monastries, round towers, Plantation castles and National Trust stately properties. It offers an impressive range of outdoor activities, especially water sports. In addition, Portinode has easy access to the dramatic coastline of Donegal, with its unspoilt beaches and Atlantic rollers.
