Kinga and Peter Bennett offer top-quality Bed & Breakfast accommodation at The Cedars, a 17th century Grade II listed property in the attractive conservation area of Barrowby village, situated 2 miles west of Grantham. The hosts and their lovely dogs provide the warmest of welcomes, and some handsome original features add to the quiet, civilised feel that brings guest back to The Cedars year after year. The guest accommodation comprises two spacious but cosy bedrooms with en suite facilities and another with a shared bathroom.
Amenities in the rooms include TV, radio and tea/coffee tray, and internet and fax facilities are available. The full English breakfast is definitely worth waking up for, with eggs from the resident free-range chickens and prime Lincolnshire bacon and sausages from the butcher just up the road.
A one- or two-course evening meal can be provided by arrangement, with Italian cuisine a speciality, making fine use of home-grown vegetables and local meat and fish. Guests have the use of a quiet sitting room with an open log fire and a pretty walled garden.
